It's funny how one of the coldest months of the year is also the one dedicated to love. On the other hand, the colder it gets, the more people snuggle, so maybe that's not such a stretch. If dinner served with a side of intrigue is your cup of tea, then your February will start off with a BANG. Here's a look at a couple of Murder Mystery offerings in southern West Virginia.

The New River Train Rides Again
Although trains were a primary mode of transportation for many years in this country, times, they are a'changin'. These days you probably don't consider the train when planning a trip.

Snow Fun For the Kids
WV winters are usually snow-filled, and Winterplace Ski Resort is a great way to take advantage of the snowy outdoor fun. Whether or not you're a skier, getting your kids involved in the sport is incredibly easy at Winterplace.
The Skiwee Program is structured learning that provides a great way for kids to learn to ski or board. They get small group attention from instructors that specialize in teaching kids proper skiing and boarding techniques.
The program includes lift tickets, rental equipment, supervision, instruction, lunch, and snacks. It is a great way for kids to learn to ski or board. And parents, you'll have a chance to get some solo runs in and then meet up with your kiddos at the end of the instruction day.
